The problems of in the wrong place It’s not just the performances in general, but the directing and a frankly incredible script.

Willis as Frank, a former police officer in a small town. We found out that he’s an ex at the beginning of the film, when a year has passed, because the beginning has nothing to do with the protagonist’s profession.

“It’s cancer” are the first two words you hear. They tell Chloe (Ashley Greene, who was Alice Cullen in the saga). Dusk), Frank’s daughter. Away from the office, Frank and his wife, Chloe’s mother, are having dinner and drinks at a restaurant in their small town and seeing how they deal with the news.

And it’s not going that, on the way, on the way to his house in the forest, in the wrong place he comes across a deer. Bah, it’s there, standing. And no matter how much Frank tries to avoid it… Now yes, a year later, we find out that Frank’s wife died in the accident, and he had to resign from the Police, because let’s remember he was drinking, and even though he was released, was charged with manslaughter.

Frank now works as a security guard at one of those shops in the middle of the route. He watches at night. “It’s cheaper than fixing security cameras,” says the owner of the club, which has had its copper wires robbed, apparently by meth criminals.

Frank, in order not to get bored, plays cards alone, drinks coffee, smokes a cigar, pours himself more coffee, plays the harmonica.

And, again, he hears no noise, and it is the drug dealer who is about to execute a former employee who betrayed him, out there behind the club. Don’t ask how they got there. You know: it’s the wrong place, again.

Frank ends up shooting the drug dealer in the leg, who shot his employee in the forehead. The police arrive, they catch the drug dealer and Frank has to be questioned. Frank has a huge cap embroidered with the US flag and a sign on his house that says God Bless America. a patriot.

Is that the only weapon that was found was his, because the narco he threw-away-his-and-there-where-his-son-was. And the cameras didn’t work. It’s Frank’s word, no more. Sure, the narco’s son will want revenge.

And the sick daughter? Precisely, but precisely in those days, she decides to go and find her father, together with her partner Tammy, with whom he does not kiss throughout the film. Another one arriving in the wrong place, a day earlier than expected.

Ashley Greene, from the “Twilight” saga, is the sick daughter of the protagonist. We haven’t spoiled anything about the other character.

At times the film looks like a TV show, with useless fade-ins to switch from one scene to another, as if marking the arrival of the commercial batch.

All wrong

The bad, forced and incongruous dialogues are joined by the new police captain, who comments loudly when he is in danger and there is no one around him, speaking directly to the audience.

And that the guns are badly loaded, because there are several who look dead, but they get up and are just badly wounded.

Bruce looks tired throughout the screening and has that signature gesture of his, like sniffing poop. Sounds like he’d be mad at the script.

Anyway, for a reason this film had a limited theatrical release last year in the United States and debuted on streaming in many countries. Like now, in Argentina.
