Netflix has chosen to cancel the series “Raising Dion”, a series that follows a child discovering he has superpowers, after two seasons. The project was produced by the star Michael B. Jordan (“Black Panther”), who also makes cameo appearances in the plot.
The plot tells the story of Nicole, a single mother who lives in Atlanta after losing her husband, played by B. Jordan, in a very mysterious way. Now alone, she tries to raise her young son, Dion, a boy with amazing abilities. When she discovers that the young man has superpowers, he becomes a target of the US government and she needs the help of her friends to keep him a secret.
