Juan Ferrara’s farewell letter from Cocineros Argentinos
The truth is that it was very difficult for me to start these words that I am the farewell of the Argentine chefs. There are so many strong emotions that have invaded me these days. It took me a while to express them because I gave myself the space I needed to do so. In that period, and still, hundreds of messages of affection and lots of love have not stopped reaching me. I wish I could hug each of you…
All these messages are the result of my almost 15 years of work. I feel proud of everything I’ve done and happy for having transmitted passion and joy. Happy also because the program has spread gastronomy throughout Argentina, through great chefs, food producers and land workers. We spread values that I will never stop transmitting because for me they are essential for making quality television.
I want to thank all the collaborators of the production house who have passed through these years, I have learned a lot from them. g.Thanks to Public TV and all its labor.
I really wanted to celebrate these almost 15 years and share them with all of you. Unfortunately, due to decisions that are foreign to me, it could not be done. This gives me more strength to continue working and to find new projects that I can join and that make me feel that there is still a lot to communicate and spread. The television that represents me is always made by working as a team, generating collective ideas and respecting each other.
Another time, Eternal thanks for all the care and love you give me from every corner of the country. I keep them in my heart.
Goodbye Argentinian cooks.
