After spending a week and a half hospitalized in Bogota, Colombia after suffering a serious cardiac event, Jorge Rial arrived in Argentina today, Tuesday, at night, on a medical flight.
From the international airport of Ezeiza, the driver was transferred directly to the Finochietto Sanatorium, where he will remain under observation for a few days.
The flight from Bogotá to Buenos Aires made two stops: one in Leticia and the other in Santa Cruz de la Sierra and arrived in Ezeiza at 21:08.
“Now yeah, coming back”was the message with which the journalist had announced his imminent trip to Argentina on social media.
Shortly after arriving in the country, Rial took to his Twitter account to comment on the decision of the Supreme Court of Justice to suspend elections in the provinces of San Juan and Tucumán which were due to be held on Sunday. Saturday afternoon April 29, Jorge Rial suffered a “cardiac episode” and was hospitalized in Bogotáthe city where he was on vacation with his alleged new girlfriend.
The next day, his daughters Morena and Rocío boarded a flight to the Colombian capital to accompany their father. “As he is public knowledge, my father had a cardiac episode and is hospitalized. I ask for your discretion on the matter,” Morena wrote on her Instagram account about the difficult time her father was going through.
“During his hospitalization in the coronary unit, he had an episode of low blood pressure, they had to place a stent because there was an obstruction in some arteries and the problem was solved,” revealed Rial’s personal doctor, Guillermo Capuya, about what happened. in the Colombian clinic.
On May 1, Capuya went to Colombia and from there he assured that the pilot had woken up: “The parameters have improved. Now we have to wait and see the evolution, but everything seems to indicate that things are going for the best”.
