Film with the voices of Andy Samberg and John Mulaney as Tico and Teco arrives on Disney+ on May 20
Disney+ released this Wednesday (27) the new trailer for “Tico e Teco: Defenders of the Law”, movie live action which will feature the return of the squirrel duo after 30 years.
By the preview, it seems, an adult Peter Pan, with the original voice of Will Arnettwill act as the villain in the new story: “I always liked Alvin and the Chipmunks better“, he says at one point in the trailer.
In the story, Teco (Andy Samberg) lives off his past success to maintain his fame in the present, while Tico (John Mulaney) is an insurance broker. However, one phone call can change everything and bring back one of the most beloved detective duos in the world.

THE reboot of the classic animated series of the 90s will have John Mulaney and Andy Samberg to star in the title roles with Seth Rogen making a special appearance. Akiva Schaffer will be the director. Dan Gregor and Doug Mand of “How I Met Your Mother” wrote the screenplay.
