“My mom sent me this photo from my birthday with my brother (Homero Pettinato) and my nephew to remind me how grateful I should be today, one year later,” begins Roberto Pettinato’s son.

“Drugs had taken over my life, I couldn’t live with or without them… It was very sad as I decided at the last minute to turn on the phone and agree to meet my family, after sleeping for three days and with a new megadose in between,” he admits later.
