Production follows a group of young people sharing an apartment in Los Angeles
After six months of uncertainty, Deadline confirmed that “Pretty Smart”, a comedy series starring Emily Osment (“Hannah Montana”) was canceled by Netflix after one season. The information comes shortly after the actress joins the regular cast of “Young Sheldon”.
The plot accompanies Chelsea, a very studious and a bit snobbish girl, who dreams of working as a writer, but doesn’t know how to manage on her own. Because of this, she ends up moving to Los Angeles, where she will have a lot to learn about happiness while living with her sister and another group of people, whose intimacy has not yet been fully created.
“Pretty Smart” is created by Jack Dolgen and Doug Mand (both from “How I Met Your Mother”) and the cast also includes Gregg Sulkin (“Wizards of Waverly Place”), Olivia Macklin (“LA to Vegas”), Michael Rosen and Cinthya Carmona (“Greenhouse Academy”).
The complete first season of the series is available on Netflix.
