In Brazil, the film arrives a week apart
To avoid a clash of giants, Warner Bros. decided to change the release date of “Shazam! Wrath of the Gods”, which would hit theaters the same day as “Avatar 2: The Way of the Water”, on December 16 in the United States. With that, the new movie of the hero from DC premieres a week later than expected, on December 21.
The news was confirmed during the studio’s panel at CinemaCon, an exclusive event for press and movie owners. On social media, the director of “Shazam! two”, David F. Sandbergstill joked about the situation by reposting the news and sent a message to James Cameronwhich leads to Disney’s “You’re welcome” sequel.

Despite the brief conflict, the release date of the film in Brazil has not changed, as previously “Shazam! 2” is already scheduled to arrive weeks later, on December 29th.
ON “SHAZAM! two”
the new movie promises to expand the story Billy Batson and the entire Shazam Family. Although the synopsis has not been revealed, it is expected that the screenplay written by Henry Gayden (“Land to Echo”) sees the heroes embark on a mythological adventure, which may be connected to the hero’s own mythology.
