THE 71st Silver Condor Awards, where the best works and protagonists of Argentine cinema are recognized, concluded shortly after midnight this Monday. The big winner of the ceremony was Argentina, 1985, which won 15 of the 20 nominations it received. Moreover, Ricardo Darin was chosen as best leading actor and Santiago Mitraas best director.
In particular, Argentina, 1985 won the award in the categories Best fiction film, Best direction (Santiago Mitra), Best Leading Actor (Ricardo Darin), Best Supporting Actress (Laura Mura) Best Supporting Actor (Norman Briski) Original script AND male revelation (Santiago Armas).
He also celebrated at Direction of photography (Javier Julia), Mounting direction (Andrés Pepe Estrada), Artistic direction (Micaela Saiegh) Casting direction (Mariana Mitra), Costume design (Monica Toschi), Sound design (Santiago Fumagalli) e Makeup and Hairdressing (Dino Balanzino and Angela Garacija). Also, he won the BA Audiovisual Audience Award.
The event, organized by the Association of Film Chroniclers of Argentina, was held at the 25 de Mayo Cultural Center, located in the Villa Urquiza neighborhood in Buenos Aires.
