Christian Bale, Margot Robbie and John David Washington star in ‘Amsterdam’
20th Century Studios has released the first official image of “Amsterdam”, the filmmaker’s new film David O. Russell (“The Bright Side”) to announce its premiere date. According to the studio, the film will hit theaters on November 4th.
The official photo still reveals details of the look of Christian Bale (“Batman the dark knight”), Margot Robbie (“Birds of Prey: Harley Quinn and her Fantabulous Emancipation”) and John David Washington (“Tenet”) in the feature. Check it out below:

The cast of the feature still has strong names, including Rami Malek (“007 – No Time to Die”), Robert DeNiro (“Hunters”), Zoe Saldana (“Guardians of the Galaxy”), Anya Taylor-Joy (“The witch”), Mike Myers, Timothy Olyphant, Michael Shannon, Chris Rock, Andrea Riseborough, Matthias Schoenaerts, alessandro Nivola and Taylor Swift.
The plot is set in the 1930s and follows three friends who witness a murder, becoming the main suspects in the crime. It is in this context that the trio discovers one of the most outrageous plots in American history.
In addition to directing the project, David O. Russell also writes the screenplay for “Amsterdam”. Russell, Matthew Budman, Anthony Katagas and Arnon Milchan act as producers of the feature. Tracey Landon and Doug Torres will be the co-producers.
