After losing Montreal’s airspace for two years due to the pandemic, fireworks will re-ignite the city this summer with the return of the International des Feux Loto-Québec.
This 36th edition will launch the day after Quebec’s national holiday, June 25, with a show whose theme is I rememberaccording to a press release.
There will also be tribute shows this season to two great names in popular music: the legendary Prince and the progressive rock group Genesis, on July 2 and August 6, respectively, in the final.
Six countries will participate in the competition: Mexico, Canada, Italy, Croatia, England and Hungary, for its first participation.

International des Feux Loto-Québec is also looking for 19 volunteers who want to be part of the jury responsible for selecting the winning country at the end of the event. Those who wish can submit their application online until May 29 at juryfeuxmtl.com (New window).
