Radio-Canada will present a special program led by Patrice Roy on the occasion of the national funeral of Guy Lafleur, who died last week. The show will be broadcast live from Marie-Reine-du-Monde Cathedral in Montreal on Tuesday, May 3 from 9 am to 2 pm on ICI Télé, ICI RDI and on the Radio-Canada website.
The public will first follow the funeral procession, from 10:15 am to 11 am, before the ceremony begins, which is reserved for dignitaries and relatives. Journalists were outside, where the public could follow the funeral on two giant screens, to capture the reactions of the personalities who attended the ceremony.
Guy Lafleur will also be shown in the state at the Bell Center on Sunday, May 1, from noon to 8 pm, as well as on Monday, May 2, from 10:30 am to 3 pm Again, Radio-Canada is on site with journalists from ICI RDI, which will collect testimonials from the public.
