The new podcast Extraordinary love featuring non-traditional romantic relationships with a cast including Sophie Cadieux, Florence Blain Mbaye, Dany Boudreault, Fayolle Jean Jr., Sylvie Drapeau and Marie-Thérèse Fortin.
Written by Karina Pawlikowski, with Mani Soleymanlou in script-editing, and directed by Julien Morissette, Extraordinary love is a choral fiction in five stages from Transistor Media and Radio-Canada OHdio.
This podcast centers on Florence, an actress living in Montreal who returns to Gatineau, her hometown, to perform in a play that inspired polygamy and found her social circle there. These relatives live through different romantic experiences, such as his friend Nora, who has a relationship with a couple, or Oli and his girlfriend, who also see other men.
By addressing these realities, this work equipped with erotic scenes aims to overcome stereotypes about polyamory and non-monogamy.
Recorded last summer in Aylmer, the story of Extraordinary love is accompanied by music created by Ariane Moffatt.
Extraordinary love can be listened to on the Radio-Canada OHdio platform.
