Production on the life of “Queen of the shorties” is scheduled to premiere in 2024
Globoplay announced this Thursday (28) during Rio2C, an event aimed at the creative industry in Brazil, the production of a biographical series of Xuxa Meneghel.
With a premiere scheduled for 2024, “Rainha” will have eight episodes that will show the trajectory of the presenter, from her childhood in the interior of Rio Grande do Sul to becoming the Rainha dos Baixinhos, “following intimacy, behind the scenes and much more about Latin America’s most iconic pop star”.
“Queen” will be created and directed by Daniela De Carlo (from “Any Mutt Cat”). She signs the script alongside Patricia Corso and Clara Peltier. It has not yet been announced who will play the presenter on screen.
At the event, Globoplay also announced other productions for the coming years, including films with Fernanda Montenegro“Dona Vitória”, and with Selton Mello“Bury Your Dead”.
