ICI Musique host Pierre Therrien will retire in June after 40 years at Radio-Canada. He made the announcement Thursday night on his show The earthy blue.

Pierre Therrien has worked for ICI Musique since 2011, hosting The earthy bluebut also Therrien’s pleasures at The night watchman.
Started as a researcher-interviewer for Radio-Canada International in the early 1980s, his career at Radio-Canada led him to host radio programs, particularly No two mornings are the same in Toronto at the ICI Premiere as well occasionally Saturday and nothing else at why not sunday replaced Joël Le Bigot, but also the television show The destination race in the world in the 1990s.
Pierre Therrien will pick up the microphone for the last time on June 17. However, blues fans can listen to programs from Earthling Blues all summer, Thursday and Friday nights.
A new program dedicated to blues music will be aired next season at ICI Musique. Details about this will be provided later.
