While many fans already know these recordings from tapes that have circulated on cassettes since the late ’70s, this special edition is invaluable, with careful sound and great presentation, which honors a fact not known by many and Skinny followers have always known: Invisible is one of the most incredible bands of Argentine rock.

In fact, the meeting with Spinetta and the Eternal Bands at Vélez Sarsfield stadium in December 2009, showed that the magic of the Invisible is still intact.

The recording was made by the late sound engineer Carlos Melero, who donated these tapes to the National Institute of Music (INAMU), which in turn was given to Spinetta’s family. They were picked up by Catarina, daughter of Luis Alberto, and, with the endorsement of Machi and Pomo, agreed to their official launch.

The material was digitized by Gustavo Gauvry, a historic sound engineer in Spinetta’s career, and had the “final touch” by technician Mariano López, another key Flaco collaborator.

“She is an unknown child and, as the lyrics of shadows of aspen (Spinetta Jade theme): `Children don’t stay on the streets’. Now he has a roof, just like his siblings, ”joked Pomo, referring to this release, in a listening session with journalists organized by the label, in which Machi and Catarina Spinetta also participated.

Overcome the first feeling of engagement with that material, something strongly proven in tears and the impossibility of speaking to the audience by Sony Music director Sergio Ponfil, when his attendance at those concerts was inspired; The relaxed conversation focused primarily on the group’s sound quality and its comprehensive artistic concept.

After the “pride” expressed by Sony Music president, Daniel Amato, for this release, the musicians reviewed anecdotes about the issues that allowed the trio to reach such a musical level.

There it was noted that the accuracy coming from this tape was not a product of rehearsal hours for those shows in particular, but instead responded to the first stage of the group where the three members lived together. from Monday to Sunday in the fifth part of the town of Buenos Aires.by General Rodriguez.

“That unlimited rehearsal was for the first album, when we locked in the fifth to prepare, more than that on the first album, the way for that to be three, and now, four,” Pomo pointed out.

“It’s like a kind of Rainbow but without the guru,” Machi joked, remembering that they were completely alone and had food to get them all week. “We played all day. There was generated, not only the music of Invisible, a very strong relationship between the three was also generated, which I am sure we never had in another musical experience.”
