Since this part is accustomed for a long time before any sudden change that occurs in the country, Alessandro Lerner (66) shared in the last few hours a deep reflection on their social networks.
In detail, the well-known singer-songwriter has published on his account instagram, where 154 thousand users follow it, a large open letter on the transition of the new Government. And, next to her, a selfie in which you can see him smiling.
The singer began by saying that at his age he “still has a heart full of hope”, you see “a new democratic transition”. And he remarks: “For us who lived through the dictatorship, “Only the end of a mandate is a success.”
And in another paragraph he continued by saying: “Who wins or loses is not a question of ideologies or parties. “The country always wins when the people express themselves.”
Furthermore, the interpreter of After you AND Start again revealed that he watched the full presidential inauguration and celebrates that it was “a civil transfer”.
“There may be differences and antagonisms, but If what unites us is respect and others, I don’t care if you are left or right“he added thoughtfully.
And he specified: “A new stage is coming, whether you like it or not… I want a country with faith. With mistakes and successes but with good intentions.”
Alejandro Lerner’s complete letter on the transition of the new Government
Today 13 December 2023. Here I am very excited in front of my computer keyboard. At my age, still with a heart full of hope, I see a new democratic transition.
For us who lived through the dictatorship, only the end of the mandate is a success. Without partisanship. Only the patriotic spirit of living the movement of our rights is naturally an achievement. Vote, choose, express yourself.
Who wins or who loses is not a question of ideologies or parties. The country always wins when the people express themselves. Like many other times, today my heart pushes me to write this letter.
I saw every moment of the presidential inauguration, every face, every gesture, of those who could see a civilian transfer and of those who could not escape their own miseries and pettiness.
If we could understand that we all work for others, because without others there is nothing and no one.
The word respect. Respect as an end in itself, respect as a basis.
There may be differences and antagonisms, but if what unites us is respect and others, I don’t care if you are left or right, they are increasingly confused and contradictory and I would even say that today they are obsolete and outdated words.
You have to be flexible so as not to stop understanding. I see the session of Congress, everyone standing before the oaths. Respect, excite.
The honorable word can be reborn in the face of the moral poverty to which we have become accustomed. I am sorry to have to express that our country has become impoverished, morally and spiritually. And one thing leads to another.
As it is within, so it is without. As above, so below. If they steal upstairs they also steal downstairs. If your heart is morally poor, there will be more poverty outside too.
Yesterday would have been my mother’s new birthday. A woman who never stopped working, helping, teaching. My parents and grandparents left a mark on me.
They taught me that the process is to dream, believe, work and work. This is how I want my children to grow up, with parents who have faith, courage and an iron will to carry on despite their circumstances.
A new phase is coming, whether you like it or not. Now our decision is, as I said before, whether to put the stick in the wheel just for the fun of it, or cooperate to build the wheel and put it on the stick to push, and we will do that. move forward surely and for the common good.
For pensioners, for the needy, for young people, for dreamers, for those who no longer have time or for those who need help, for the common good.
The common good has no party flags, otherwise it would cease to be the common good and would continue to be what it has been until now, for the wealthy, their relatives, the militants or the pancakes.
I prefer to express my hitherto inexhaustible need for hope, I owe it to myself, I owe it to my parents and even more now to my children.
I say yes, even if we have to be in the middle of the storm. I say yes, because my dream is to give work to many families, because things have gone well for me and things have gone badly for me, and I’m moving forward.
Many times these days I have heard the word God and when you call him, “he” appears. Or he simply appears within us, which is the key thing.
I want a country with faith. With mistakes and successes but with good intentions.
