Character will be one of the protagonists of “Multiverse of Madness”
the journey of Wanda Maximoff is considered one of the saddest of the Marvel Cinematic Universe and the layers of that suffering were addressed in the series “WandaVision”. A few days away from the grand opening of “Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness”, a film in which Elizabeth Olsen will be one of the protagonists, the character’s grief was discussed in a new promotional video.
“I think ‘WandaVision’ was this journey of hers, for the first time, taking her life into her own hands, and it was fun to move from her experience to this film.” says Olsen in the video.
“We wanted to satisfy ‘WandaVision’ fans and take them to the next level with a character they love.” says the director Sam Raimi. “It was fun to look at it from a different perspective”completes Elizabeth.
the presence of Scarlet Witch connects the film directly with “WandaVision”, a series in which Wandaaccidentally creates a perfect reality to live with Eyesight (Paul Bettany). However, the breaking point of “Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness” must come from “Spider-Man: No Homecoming” and the consequences of the spell performed by the Doctor Strange so that everyone would forget that Peter parker (Tom Holland) and the Spider man. The film will also have many connections with the series “What If…?”
“Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness” opens in Brazilian cinemas on May 5th.
