Although it is an entertainment and general culture program, in The 8 steps of the 3 million (El Trece, Monday to Friday at 9.45pm) emotions are intertwined with the life stories of the people who sign up to participate in the question and answer cycle.

This is the case of Carolinaa dog groomer, who surprised and moved on Wednesday’s program Guido Kaczka revealing that he overcame a terminal illness, setting a great example of resilience for viewers.

“Carolina, good evening, what are you doing?” he introduced her to the driver first. “I’m a dog groomer And thank God I’m here.”, he replied, arousing Guido’s concern. “Why?” asked the host of the series before asking him the question to advance to the next step.

It was there that the participant He revealed that he had been diagnosed with terminal cancer in 2022 for which several doctors had told him that they gave him no hope of life.

Because a year ago I was diagnosed with grade 4 Hodgkin’s lymphoma, it was already terminal,” he assured. “Oh Carolina, what are you telling me. “And they told you it was terminal?” the driver replied in surprise.

In Tuesday’s edition of 8 steps of 3 million (El Trece), a participant surprised Guido Kaczka by winning the jackpot and revealing to the host what she will do with the money.

Marta, owner of a kiosk in the Balvanera area, during her participation in the game told what she would have done if she had managed to win the prize, which in the end happened. The fact is that, in detail, the woman explained that she had to pay a debt of one million dollars and that she would use the money for that.

When questioned by the driver, she clarified that the debt she owed to Aysa was between approximately one and two million.

“Martita, the millions would be to pay a debt to Aysa, how much?” asked Guido. “Seven figures,” the gambler replied. “One million? Two million? One and a half million?” the driver. “More or less,” he manages to say, without giving further details.

The truth is that after answering the last question correctly, Marta held back the 3 million pesos and, visibly moved, couldn’t hold back her tears. “I can’t believe it,” the participant said on several occasions, as she joined in an emotional embrace with one of her classmates.

“Marta, the newsstand. They call the kiosk “Martita’s”. She loves her job. “She lives in Congress, she has two grandchildren, her son Marcos and her little dog,” Kaczka said as the woman was handed the check with the three million pesos.
