Hernández was a cattle trader dedicated to exporting meat. In his Linkedin profile it was recorded that he was responsible for foreign trade for the company Frigolar SA, which deals with “purchase of real estate in the Liniers market, export of meat and offal”.

Previously, he worked at the CASEPA meat processing plant, located in the General Pico area, La Pampa province. There he was the owner of the Livestock Company and responsible for purchasing meat for the Patagonian importer and exporter.
