“Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness” opens in Brazilian cinemas on May 5
Marvel Studios has released a new teaser for “Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness”, which promises to forever change its cinematic universe as it explores different realities. The unreleased preview even shows more details of the big comeback of Patrick Stewart to the role of Professor Charles Xavier. Check out:
The video starts with bite (Chiwetel Ejiofor) saying to Stephen Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) that “the Illuminati will see you now”, mentioning the famous group of comic book heroes.
In the sequence, we see the Sorcerer Supreme almost being hit by the shield of the Captain Carter (Hayley Atwell), a character featured in “What If…?”, and Patrick Stewart can be heard saying: “Let’s find out what kind of doctor you are”.
“In Marvel Studios’ Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, the MCU unleashes the multiverse and explores its limits like never before. Journey into the unknown with Doctor Strange, who, with the help of allies new and old, traverses insane and dangerous realities of the Multiverse to confront a mysterious new adversary,” says the official synopsis released by Marvel.
“Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness” is directed by Sam Raimi (from “Spider-Man”, 2002 film and the first adaptation live action of the Neighborhood Friend). The list also has Xochitl Gomez, Elizabeth Olsen, Rachel McAdams and Benedict Wong.
The film opens in Brazilian cinemas on May 5th.
