Second Slater, echo would appear as a love interest of Marc Spector/Steven Grantlived by Oscar Isaac (“Dune”), just like in the comics. However, she “not fitting in well” in the production plot.

“In the beginning, Echo was going to be our love interest. It was a decision based solely on the fact that Marvel really liked the character and was trying to fit her into some production. But she didn’t work very well with the story we were telling.”revealed Slater.

Then he recalled the difficulties to fit the character into the plot of “Moon Knight” and all the frustrating attempts they had. Luckily for him, Marvel itself has decided on a new course for echo. “They were like, ‘You know, we’re doing the Hawkeye series and maybe it’ll be better there…’. We were like, ‘Oh, thank God!'”.

It seems that the decision was right, since after the success in “Gavião Arqueiro”, echo will appear in a series of its own. Although recording began last week, the new project still does not have a set date to reach the Disney+ catalog.
