Best to watch on HBO Max previews in February 2024

HBO Max He is living his last days in Latin America. Having already been replaced in the United States, the streaming platform will change to “Max” at the end of February, a month full of previews. After winning several Emmy Awards in major categories, big launches are expected for the second month of the year.

Confirmation of the end of HBO Max arrived a few weeks ago, but users with an active subscription will not need to make any changes, as it will be done automatically. So far it has not been announced that it will come with a price update.

The change will arrive on February 27 in Latin America and the Caribbean, and will mean a major expansion for the platform: 37,000 hours of content – more than double what has been available so far – from the brands HBO, Warner Bros., DC’s Universe, Discovery, Discovery Home & Health, Cartoon Network, Discovery Kids and Adult Swim, in addition to projects that Sony Pictures and NBCUniversal are launching.

HBO Max arrives in February with enormous prestige after winning most of the Emmy Awards, which recognize the best series and documentaries of the last year. The most notable was Succession, which took home six awards: third prize for Best Drama Series, Best Drama Actress for Sarah Snook, Best Drama Actor for Kieran Culkin, Best Drama Supporting Actor for Matthew Macfadyen, best drama script for series creator Jesse. Armstrong.

The only one to receive an award in this category was Jennifer Coolidge for her work in The White Lotus, which was also released on HBO Max.

Among its main titles, season 2 of Tokyo Vice stands out, a series produced by Michael Mann and starring Ansel Elgort and Chow Yun-fat. “Tokyo Vice explores the complexities of Japanese policing and promises to keep viewers on the edge of their seats with each episode,” the synopsis explains.

Among the most anticipated returns is also season 12 of Curb Your Enthusiasm, which will be available on HBO Max on February 5. It is a historical comedy series for the platform, written and starring Larry David, one of the co-writers of Seinfeld.

Featuring corrosive humor, it earned four Emmy nominations in its final year, including Outstanding Comedy Series and Outstanding Guest Actor in a Comedy Series for Bill Hader. From its premiere in 2000 to today, Curb Your Enthusiasm has received more than 50 Emmy nominations.
