The Assassin’s Paradox and a documentary about the wife of drug trafficker Pablo Escobar are the highlights of this week’s streaming

Police, documentaries and some stories about alpha males They are the axis of previews for the week from Monday 5 February to Sunday 11 February.

Lots to watch both in streaming and on some cable signals dedicated to series and films. This also includes a couple of football films (one about the 2022 World Cup in Qatar and another, a fiction by Adrián Suar).

Series

The assassin’s paradox

From Saturday on Netflix.

A game that never ends – the old cat and mouse scheme – is the protagonist of the series, which tells of a succession of murders. The production was made in South Korea and starred Choi Woo-Shik.

Tata: Escobar’s widow

Thursday, at 10pm, on DirecTV channels 201 and 1201.

Documentary series about the life of the Colombian drug trafficker Pablo Escobar, who everyone knew as “Tata”. The woman decides to break the silence, for the first time since the drug lord’s death.

Alpha males

From Saturday on Netflix.

Second season of the series in which a group of men review their privileges in a society that has new rules. The Spanish production was created by brothers Alberto and Laura Caballero.

Murder in the 21st century

Thursday, 4.40pm, on A&E. Also in Flow.

We all leave digital footprints in our lives (and social media). This series follows major true crimesfrom those missteps of criminals.

The only survivor

Tuesday, at 10pm, for Europe Europe. Also in Flow.

A three-month-old baby is the only survivor of a plane crash that occurred in October 1977 on the border between France and Switzerland. The miniseries is based on the best-seller by the French Michel Bussi, author of The mother is wrong.

Movie

Ragazzi: the people’s film

From Sunday on Disney+ and Star+.

Premiere of the film that tells the story the Argentine team’s path to the world title in Qatar. The narration was by Guillermo Francella, based on a story by Hernán Casciari. “It’s much more than a film. “It’s a cinematic experience,” the promotion says.

Climb

Starting Friday on Prime Video.

Novels and opportunities arise from the promotion of Ana, an ambitious intern who has a big dream: to dedicate herself to art.

Football or me

From Wednesday on Netflix.

Adrián Suar stars in the film about a man who is extremely passionate about football; So much so that he endangers his marriage by only thinking about a ball and 22 players. His wife in fiction is Julieta Díaz.
