Disney+ movie stars singer Grace VanderWaal
Disney+ released on Monday (2) the trailer, the official poster and the premiere date of the sequel to “The Extraordinary Girl Called Star”. Titled “The Extraordinary Girl Called a Star in Hollywood”, the film starring the singer Grace VanderWaal will be released on June 3 on the streaming platform.

Directed by Julia Hartthe film adaptation of the book written by Jerry Spinelli shows how life leo (Graham Verchere) has completely changed since stargirl (Vanderwall) arrived at tranquil Mica High in an explosion of color and sound, attracting the attention of everyone around him. Captured only by a smile, he finds himself enveloped by the unconventional, free-spirited girl.
In the second movie, Susan Caraway, better known to all as Stargirl, leaves Mica, Arizona, to venture into the music business in Los Angeles, California. The plot shows the protagonist’s mother, A-N-Abeing hired as a costume designer for a film and it is behind the scenes of the production that stargirl meet very different people, like aspiring filmmakers, evan and terrellyour neighbor Mitchell and the musician Roxanne Martel. In addition to returning as the lead, VanderWall also wrote an original song for the film, titled “Figure It Out”. Judy Greer (“Suddenly 30”) joined the cast replacing Sara Arrington (“Mowgli: The Wolf Boy”) as Stargirl’s mother.
