FX’s production is based on a book about guitarist Steve Jones’ memoirs

directed by Danny Boyle (“Trainspotting – Unlimited”), the series was created and scripted by Craig Pearcebased on the memoir by Steve Jones 2017’s “Lonely Boy: Tales From a Sex Pistol”.
The episodes promise to follow a group of messy, “futureless” working-class kids who completely rocked the drab and corrupt institution, threatened to overthrow the government and changed music and culture forever.
“Pistol” stars Toby Wallace as Steve Jones; Jacob Slater like Paul Cook; Anson Boon like John Lydon; Christian Lees as Glen Matlock; Louis Partridge as Sid Vicious; Sydney Chandler as Chrissie Hynde; Talulah Riley as Vivienne Westwood; Maisie Williams like the iconic punk Jordan/Pamela Rooke; Emma Appleton like Nancy Spungen; and Thomas Brodie-Sangster like Malcolm McLaren.
The series will be released in Brazil by Star+, but the premiere date has not yet been announced.
