Taylor Swift continues to generate millions of dollars in profits with his successful tour “The Eras Tour”. Now it’s about selling the streaming rights.
According to the journalism platform Puck News, Disney will pay the singer-songwriter more than $75 million and entrepreneur to be able to exclusively broadcast her documentary which portrays a concert of the “Eras Tour”.
The idea is to charge Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour (Taylor’s version) on Disney+ worldwide. According to the report, Disney overtook Netflix and Universal Pictures (which handled the film’s digital/VOD distribution) for the streaming rights.
Disney declined to comment on the deal for “The Eras Tour,” which will also include five songs not featured in previous versions of the film. A representative for Swift did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

The documentary film was filmed during the first three shows of the “Eras Tour” in Los Angeles from August 3 to 5, 2023. The 2-hour, 45-minute theatrical release omitted several songs from the performances.
