The film festival is coming, at 1,500 dollars a ticket: when it starts and in which theaters

THE Film Festival returns, after last year’s editions (there were two, one in February and the other in October). But this time it will be very big, since it will not only be from Thursday to Sunday, but it will last for a whole week.

The new Film Festival begins on Thursday 22 February and ends on Wednesday 28, in practically all the cinemas in the country: there are more than 50 cinema chains (see list below).

All shows in 2D, 3D, XD, comfort, Monster Screen and Gold Class theaters will have tickets for just 1,500 pesos. If we compare with the two previous Festivals, in the October Festival the tickets cost 800 pesos, while a year ago they cost 450 pesos. Screenings in 4D, DBOX and Premium theaters will cost 2,800 pesos while in some chains, if you go to the cinema today, you have to pay 8,500 dollars in 4D ones, 8,400 dollars in DBOX ones and 10,200 dollars in Premium ones. So, do your math…

So it’s a good opportunity not only to return to the cinema, but to enjoy previews, a long-awaited re-release and see films with Oscar nominations.

For example, Retirement planaction comedy with Nicolas Cage, debuts this Thursday, February 22nd. AND Nine queensthe film by Fabián Bielinsky, with Ricardo Darin and Gastón Pauls, arrives in new, digitized and 4K copies.

Looking at the films with the most nominations at the Hollywood Academy Awards, they are Oppenheimer, poor creatures, Barbie, Area of ​​interest, Anatomy of a fall, Those who remain AND I am CaptainMoreover.

It’s true that a couple of previews moved the original date (Thursday the 22nd) and were moved later, but they distribute horror films, like The jesterand the anime Demon Slayer Kimetsu No Yaiba.
