“Cocaine Bear”, new film by Elizabeth Banksdirector of the Charlie’s Angels reboot, won a release date in Brazilian cinemas.
The date will be February 24, 2023 and was announced by distributor Universal Pictures (via Deadline).
The film tells the true story of a bear who consumed 30 kg of cocaine dropped from a plane. “Cocaine Bear” will follow police officers and tourists walking through a forest in the US state of Georgia as the gigantic bear began its cocaine-fueled killing spree.
In the cast are the actors Alden Ehrenreich (“Solo Han: A Star Wars Story”), Ray Liotta (“Goodfellas”), Keri Russell (“The Americans”), O’Shea Jackson (“Unlikely Couple”) and Jesse Tyler Ferguson (“Modern Family”).
The script is signed by Jimmy Warden (“The Nanny: Queen of Death”). the duo Phil Lord and Chris Millerfrom “Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse”, signs the production.
