Speaking with the newspaper he appeared very happy, he said that the first greetings he received were from his family and friends. “I can’t tell you which was first, but half of Buenos Aires was calling… half of Argentina,” he commented, smiling.

Furthermore, Chiqui said that although she asked that they not give her gifts this year because given the economic crisis that Argentina is going through, everything is very expensive, she received a scarf and a huge amount of bouquets of flowers. “My house is full of flowers!” she exclaimed. “The truth is, I’m very excited,” she said.

Mirtha Legrand: “This age is for celebrating and being grateful”

When TN asked Mirtha Legrand to say something about the party she’s holding in her apartment, the host replied: “It will be about 50 people. I don’t know where I’ll put all the guests, but we’ll all go in. It’s coming.” Jairo will sing and bring his girlfriend, who comes from Villa María, and I will be with all my loved ones: family and friends.

“Are you going to keep partying for the rest of the weekend?”, They asked. Excited, Mirtha replied: “Obviously! This is for celebration! This age is about celebrating and being grateful.”

In a series of confessions, Mirtha said: “I didn’t sleep all night because I reviewed my whole life.” And when the reporter wanted to know what the result of that balance had been, Chiqui said he thought: “You’ve come a long way, girl.”

“I am very happy, very happy – she added – but at the same time I think of my sister Goldie… It is not common to celebrate a double birthday, but God has it in Heaven”.

It should be remembered that Silvia Legrand, known as Goldie, Mirtha’s twin, died on May 1, 2020, while she was taking a nap. We were in full quarantine due to the Covid pandemic, so Mirtha couldn’t say goodbye to her as she would have liked.

In August 2019, their older brother: José Martínez Suárez, a prestigious figure of Argentine cinema, died at the age of 93, after spending several weeks in intensive care following hip surgery.

Despite the pain, Mirtha Legrand does not give up her unconditional love for life. “I’m happy, people treat me with enormous affection. I’m moved by people’s reaction“he told TN.

Regarding her program, which will air tomorrow, Saturday, Mirtha Legrand said that she will do it as always, with the only difference that she will blow out the candles on the cake. Your guests, this time at the television table, will be Arturo Puig, Carolina Pampita Ardohain, Laurita Fernández and Lucía Galán.
