The last preliminary gala Big Brother (at 10.30pm, on Telefe) was a roller coaster of emotions for many. After people decided to delete Lysander in a hand-to-hand duel with Juliana (aka “Fury”), the house has taken an unexpected turn: amidst inconsolable tears, Agostina has decided to voluntarily abandon the reality show.
This Monday, without respite, the movement continued. Less than 24 hours after unexpectedly being left with two fewer participants, the country’s most famous house has added five new “little brothers”. Denisse and Sabrina also returnedwhich had already been eliminated, thanks to the “golden ticket”.
In the midst of all this, Lisandro’s departure was a bit nuanced. This Tuesday, less than 48 hours after his first contact with the “outside”, the last person eliminated from Big Brother spoke Clarion about his last minutes inside the house, his first perceptions from the outside and his conflicted relationship with Juliana.
-Your departure from home was very atypical, because at the same time you left Agostina. What was it like leaving amidst the chaos?
-When Agos left the plate I was overcome by a terrible relief. He gave what he needed. If I stayed home, I took Juliana out. And if I left everything was fine, because I had had very bad days and the situation was already unsustainable. At that moment I said goodbye to “Los bros” (the group I formed with Nicolás, Bautista and Martín) and some others who were coming out. Yes, it’s true that the release was a little sloppy and it was strange.
Agostina’s surprising abandonment
-Did you feel that Agostina’s departure took away your importance?
-No, the truth is that I don’t see it from that side. She was very overwhelmed. I had come from very difficult days. She had told me: “You are my only support at home. If you leave, I’m leaving.” Because everyone else was submissive, always at the mercy of what she Juliana wanted. I would never blame Agos for taking the spotlight away from me.
-Do you really think she felt threatened by Juliana?
-At first yes, then it passed. Yesterday we chatted a little and she is much calmer, it was something that happened to her and she stayed inside the house. But at that time she was really overwhelmed emotionally and she decided to leave the house.
The house without him, from “outside”
-How did seeing Juliana’s celebration make you feel because you left?
-I feel like Juliana has always had a certain respect for me as a player. In fact, I saw that when we were together, he went into her room with Catalina and told her, “I’m leaving.” He really thought she was going to leave.
As far as celebrations go, I think it’s a game. Everyone can celebrate as they want. The truth is that it didn’t seem excessive to me at all, that’s just how she is. He looks for the funny side of things and it’s really a lot of fun. But when you have it in front of you, it can make your life impossible, because that’s his strategy.
-Did it hurt that Martín told Juliana “well played” after your elimination?
-Not really, I see it more from a gaming perspective. “El Chino” (which is Martín’s nickname at home) was like a brother to me. I know on the outside he will be a friend for life. He is an exceptional person.
I didn’t interpret that he congratulated her because he wanted me to leave. She simply acknowledged that she had won one-on-one against me and Agostina remained behind. The two-one for him was terrible and the Chinese recognizes it because he was an excellent player.
The new “little brothers”
-What do you think that seven people entered the house on Monday?
-The truth is crazy. I honestly think it’s good for the house because it gives it a different feel. When I left, I and then Agostina were the only ones who stood up to Giuliana, and she too needed this for her game. There’s no way everyone wants to play with her. Those who made it into the playoffs also came with gifts for her. And there has to be someone on the other side. If the new ones hadn’t arrived, it would have been Juliana’s house.
-What do you think would have happened to you at home if you had been there when it happened?
-I think I would have overflowed. If Juliana had left, I would have stayed, I would still have been happy. But if for some reason the two of us had stayed and a third person came in, then I would have collapsed. It would have been terribly devastating.
One in your head, even if you know that the program has an end date, when you see new people arriving the only thing you think is that if there are seven new people it’s seven extra Sundays. Even if you really enjoy being at home, you long for that moment when it all ends.
-Were you already starting to feel anxious about the end?
-I started to feel a little overwhelmed when I found out there were going to be playoffs. We all knew this instance existed, but we’re still starting to feel a little anxious. Plus, everyone who entered decided to play against me. Even Isabel, who used to be my friend. People voted for that. That’s where I ended up breaking down.
