Oscar 2024: With Oppenheimer as their banner, movie stars protest against nuclear weapons

“Hundreds of thousands of Americans have been directly harmed by the radioactive fallout from hundreds of nuclear explosions carried out on American soil. From the moment of the first atomic bomb test at Los Alamos, New Mexico, our entire planet has been at risk. We must stop this madness,” he says in the statement.
