Camilo revealed that the birth of his wife Evaluna Montaner will take place without anesthesia and that he will have a very active role

Evaluna will give birth in August, her birthday month. As is their custom, the couple has not announced the sex of the child they are expecting.

And as with their first daughter, who they called Indigo, the couple once again chose a name that connotes neither the feminine nor the masculine: Amaranto.

As for the details on how they plan the birth, in the aforementioned interview, Camilo stated that this will be the case natural and without epidural.

Regarding his role when his wife gave birth, he stated: “At Indigo’s birth I was an active companion, but I did not have the knowledge to actively assist him. I would like to receive Amaranto directlyit’s complex, it’s not “getting your hands on it”, no, it’s a whole question.”

Knowing that the choice of the name Amaranto and the performance of a birth without anesthesia were issues that would arouse controversy, Camilo Echeverry explained that before making it public he reached an agreement with his wife Evaluna.

Having said this, he clarified: “I knew people would throw stones at us. why is it called that (Amaranth). “I knew they would tell us why it’s called that, why they don’t take Evaluna to the hospital, why they don’t give her anesthesia.”
