That’s when he met Battista Mascia at an event in Montevideo, with whom he soon forms a great friendship. One day, remembering the topic To the moonwhich he recorded for his former band, I play for you, She asked him to teach her how to compose.

It was Bauti who gave voice to the song and together with Cele, who created the music, they then recorded the video clip in Chinatown.

It doesn’t hurt anymore To date it has accumulated more than five million views on various platforms and is, why not, on the list to ascend the throne of summer theme.

“What always united us is that he composed and composes excellently. I mean, the lyrics come out of his head in twenty minutes. And I told him: ‘Man, I need your help’”says Cele, in conversation with Clarionshowering Bauti with praise.

-What was the composition like?

-We spent all night trying to come up with lyrics because I wanted to release a cumbia song for the summer. And we put those lyrics together. She went very well… In the meantime she started coming to Buenos Aires more and more often. She told me that she was doing a couple of castings, but she wouldn’t tell me which ones.

-How did you make the decision to have him provide vocals on the song?

-The idea of the song wasn’t for him to sing it. But I started to really like the way he sang it. I told him, “I need you to sing it, Bauti, please. “I can’t find another voice like yours to address this topic.” I asked him if he liked the way the others sang and he also told me he liked their voices better. And finally it happened.

-Did you think the song would have the success it did? It already has more than five million views…

-I only found out three days before that he would enter the Big Brother house. When he told me this, I told him that I was counting on him to work (referring to promoting the topic). He replied: “It doesn’t matter. For my part, I will give everything.” But I didn’t expect so much momentum…

-How did he tell you he would join Big Brother?

-Look, he tells me: “I’m organizing everything so you remember that I told you about the castings… they’re the Big Brother castings.” There she directed me directly to another person because I needed to get into the hotel. Every day, when there is an event, I write to Bauti, even if he can’t see it. I send him “Bauti, today we reached the million”, “Bauti, today they wrote to us from such and such a place”. It’s like a diary that I leave to Bauti.

-What did you feel when you heard your song in the Big Brother house?

-I liked it! I love that clip of her cooking and singing the song. That killed me. I liked it.

-Do you want to enter the house?

-Yes, I don’t know how this will be handled, but if we could tell him just 5% of what’s going on outside, that would be great, but hey, we have to support him from this side and with a hand on our hand. heart, do great good because you deserve it. He’s a very good guy and when you talk to him you realize the vibrations he has, what he generates in you. He is a guy who deserves to be a finalist.

-Do you follow the program? How do you see it in the game?

-I follow him for him. Looking at it from the point of view of the house, for me it is completely normal that there are many clashes and many different personalities. We see it as a small sample within a home, but in reality it is what happens on a large scale in a society and we must try to include it as best we can. For me Bauti who tries to leave his mark, his personality, or he doesn’t want to show anything else, is the most precious thing.

-Going back to the song, how did you record the video?

-We thought a lot about how we wanted to record it, because we wanted it to be as simple as possible. At first we wanted to walk around with a small camera and be everywhere. We went to Chinatown, she told me it burned down, that everyone there takes pictures. I said, “What do you have? It will be fantastic.” I convinced him. And the day we were supposed to record was a Sunday, it was raining for a band, at seven in the afternoon… I had played on Saturday and I had come from a flight from Paraguay. I wanted to spend it for the next day but he he convinced me to go anyway. So we went, we had a lot of fun. We ate Chinese things, fortune cookies… We had a lot of fun.

-How do you imagine Bauti’s future after the period on Big Brother?

-He will break it for me. He will rock with his music and with the genre that he likes, without having to adapt too much to the audience, but rather he will be able to provide the type of music that he makes, which is much more ballads, romantic. . I feel like deep down it’s what he always wanted to do.
