The journalist, writer and presenter Jorge Dorio died in the early hours of this Wednesday at the age of 65. The information was confirmed by those close to him on social networks.
Last week Dorio held a conference in Salliqueló, a town in the province of Buenos Aires. After the meeting called “Café Cultura” and held at the Miguel de Cervantes Saavedra Cultural Center of that city, He suffered a heart attack and was rushed to hospital.as confirmed by his son Franco.
Still intubated, he was transferred to Trenque Lauquen, where they placed two stents. A few days later, he was taken off the ventilator and moved to a room on the floor. There he waited a few days waiting to be transferred to Buenos Aires.
However, in the early hours of this Wednesday he had a heart attack again and this time he couldn’t resist. Jorge Dorio died of cardiac arrest.
Born in Barracas, Dorio has been a radio and television host since the early 1980s. On TV he has been part of programs such as “Badía y Compañía”, “El Monitor Argentino”, “Big Brother” and “678”while he participated on the radio for many years “Revenge will be terrible”next to Alessandro Dolina.
