With a title like that, Rescue impossible, it would all be said. There are people to get out of somewhere, but the inconveniences are so many that it’s almost mission impossible. Well, not so much if Liam Hemsworth AND Russell Crowe They form a duo (they had already worked together in Perfect game), one on the attack front in Asia and another sitting a little uncomfortably in the Army office in Las Vegas, operating drones.
War is no longer what it used to be. The technology is so advanced that it is possible to drop a bomb in seconds without being detected.
But Rescue impossible (land of evil, in the original) are not averse to hand-to-hand combat. It’s no small fact that bad guys have terrible aim, because when Kinney has to fend for himself and is ambushed on more than one occasion, the boy emerges almost unscathed, without a scratch or a drop of blood to stain his clothes.
The inexperienced Air Force sergeant JJ ”Playboy” Kinney (Liam Hemsworth, one of Chris’s younger brothers, the Thor, which is the one in the middle; Luke, the older brother, also stars in this film) is flying over the area. He and others have to carry out a hostage rescue mission. But, presumably, something doesn’t go as expected. It goes wrong.
As Kinney’s assistant, Grimm guides the soldier as he shoots, climbs and walks through enemy territory in search of a high-priority hostage. The guy in question is a CIA spy, who has information on a Russian arms dealer. But Kinney will have to deal with, as we read at the beginning, “the most violent extremist groups in South Asia”, who arrive right in the trafficker’s camp to attack him.
There are scenes of graphic violence, deaths and torture. The characterization of terrorists is terrible, because they are like archetypes and the villains must have something that we as viewers cannot empathize with, but at least try to understand their actions.
It’s not the case.
Yes, that of the Grimm Reaper, who is sitting in Las Vegas coordinating the attack and extraction. Crowe’s character doesn’t seem to be well respected by his teammates, who are more interested in watching a basketball game on television. Is it necessary to humanize it more? The man could not stand a franc and his fourth wife is about to give birth.
Great fight scenes
Rescue impossible It’s an action movie with very well photographed fight scenes and hand-to-hand combat. However, all this lacks verisimilitude, and at a certain point racism is more than enough.
But it is likely that all this is of no interest to those who have paid for a ticket to see an action film, a war event almost like those seen before.
