This Friday 15 March A new edition of Lollapalooza Argentina begins, the festival where thousands of fans will celebrate the best of current music. As always the meeting point will be San Isidro Racecourse. Around 100,000 people per day are expected at the venue.
Over the course of the three days, some of the most important artists on the international scene will take to the stage, such as Blink-182, SZA, Sam SmithArcade Fire, Diplo, Thirty Seconds to Mars and The Driver Era.
Argentina will also be present at Lollapalooza 2024. This year they will be present YSY A, Miranda!, Chinese BandalosJuliana Gattas, among many others.
Even though the shows start at 12, The Hippodrome will open its doors at 11.30am and will have three pedestrian entrances. They will be on the corner of Santa Fe and Márquez; from Márquez at 9.00, at the Paddock entrance of the Hippodrome (for people with reduced mobility and for those who have access to the VIP Room); and from Márquez at the official entrance to the Hippodrome.
For those who decide to leave with private cars, there will be parking on Av. Santa Fe and Av. De Unidad Nacional and on Av. Márquez and Fleming. Furthermore, the property will have a free parking for bicycles, to encourage sustainable mobility. Entry will be through Santa Fe and Unidad Nacional throughout the festival. You must bring a bicycle chain for safety.

An option to get there by public transport is Machine gun train (Tiger branch), get off at San Isidro station. For the return, the trains will have a special night service of the Miter railway, directed exclusively to the Retiro (with an intermediate stop in Belgrano C). They will operate from 11pm to 12am the following day.
Likewise, you can opt for the bus lines, which will also have night reinforcements. Lines 15, 29, 42, 44, 55, 63, 64, 65, 80, 113, 114, 118, 130, 60, 168, 203, 333, 338, 343, 365, 371,407, 437 and 707.
Prohibited and permitted elements
Access to the facility is permitted with: cell phones; personal hygiene items up to 100 ml; single compartment handbags, bum bags or backpacks; plastic hydration bottles or cylinders (completely empty); small insect repellent cream; Earplugs; hats, caps and sunglasses; small digital cameras with fixed lenses; small lighters; powder, makeup, lip gloss/balm; small deodorants; Rechargeable battery; Blankets or small tarpaulins (non-advertising) and strollers.
Entry to the festival is prohibited with: gel alcohol or 70% alcohol in containers with a capacity exceeding 200 ml; food or drink unrelated to the event; large backpacks; weapons of any kind, including fireworks, explosives of any kind or sharp elements; computer; practical objects; thermos with hot liquid/mate; club or national team shirts; flags with sticks; flammable substances; any type of illegal substance; curtains, chairs of any type; professional photographic equipment; balls; musical instruments; drones; water guns; compressed air horns and/or any type or pens or aerosol cans/paints.
