“I saw three, the guys say there was one more. But it is not excluded that there were two bells in the street. So between four and six. With a bare face but with a hat. Nothing was seen. “I wouldn’t recognize them,” continued the journalist.

Mercedes explained that the criminals pointed a gun at them and placed them face down on both the bed and the floor. “Everyone signed up and asked “The jewels and the dollars!” I have no jewels, I had sold everything. They knew it was meThey told me not to press charges because I have contacts. They knew I was in Comodoro Py, in Bendita, too many details. “We will kill your boys”“They made it short,” he said.

“At a certain point, my nephew Marcos, who is very Catholic, He began to pray loudly and with great force. And one of us started to get nervous because he thought Marquitos was shouting so that a neighbor could hear us,” he revealed.

Luckily the family had some money which ended up saving his life: “I said it We had some money that two of my friends had lent us. for my daughter to study in Germany. This is the money they stole from us and… thanks to that money they didn’t kill us. So now Malena is taking up a collection to get the money back.

Furthermore, the journalist explained that they were professional thieves, that they knew what they were doing, and she demonstrated this when one of her daughters wanted to go to the bathroom. “I have three daughters and I was scared. One asked to go to the bathroom and a thief said, “I’ll go with her.” Then Florencia asked to accompany her and the thief says «Don’t worry, we are thieves but we are not violins. We won’t touch the girls.’”

“We were there for two hours. I prayed to mother Antula and the Virgin of Sorrows, the virgin of my city. And they gave me the peace to talk to him well, calmly, and not do anything about it. And I gave them the money in two parts, because I had separated it. I knew if I gave it, they would ask me for more later. I’ve made so many notes of thefts in my life that I already know that you don’t have to resist, that you have to give everything, that you have to be friendly. “They told us ‘if you call the police or go on television, we will kill the kids’.”– added Ninci.

Laughing and trying to add humor to the matter, Mercedes recounted the “joke” one of the criminals told her: “They thought I was rich, because I work in television. I don’t have a burden either at home or in the bank. And the last one to leave complains and says ‘Hey, it’s a shame they pay on television!’”

Furthermore, he revealed that many people came to show their support, from his neighbors to political figures from all parties. “From Patricia Bullrich to Grabois, from Samid to Guillermo Francos”he said, and the table commented, “That speaks well of you, you are very dear.”
