“Today marks 48 years since the last military dictatorship. I write this with the idea that all Argentines are aware of what happened in our country, and that it continues to be this way over the years”, began the singer.

And he continued: “It is not a day of debate or discussion, it is the day of remembrance. We remember with honor, pride and respect all the people who fought for our freedom and our right to live in democracy.”

Lali Espositofor his part, he expressed himself on his X account (formerly Twitter).

“MEMORY TRUTH AND JUSTICE”wrote the actress and singer, along with two emojis of a white heart and an Argentine flag.

The phrase “Never again” was also the one that many artists chose to share on their social networks, such as Fito Paez, Fabiana Cantilo, Natalia Oreiro, Ángel de Brito AND Veronica Llinásinsert many others.

“Today we neither celebrate nor commemorate. Today we stop to think back to a part of our sad and unfair history. “Today we stop to look at ourselves and our sons and daughters and tell them that those dark times can never return,” she said. Florencia Pena in its publication.

And he added: “That the State must protect us, not make us disappear. That it wasn’t a war, it was a massacre of men and women and that even today we don’t know where they are, or how they died. That they kidnapped their children, and many of them still do not know his true identity today.”

“Today we embrace the mothers, grandparents and children who tirelessly fight for truth and justice. Because a society that does not look at its history is a society that does not move forward, that does not heal its wounds and is inclined to repeat its mistakes. Here because, “Today more than ever we raise our voices to reclaim the fight by shouting ‘Never again’”the actress closed.

And the influencer and speaker of Cut for Lozano (Telefe) Juariu shared: “I’m happy that at least as a society we have some courage, “the courage and strength of the grandmothers and mothers of Plaza de Mayo”.

Other artists are mobilizing this Sunday towards Plaza de Mayo, as in the case of the writer Claudia Pineirowho expressed: “In the Plaza. Memory, truth, justice.”

Matías Martin was also present in Plaza de Mayo and later shared some images on his Instagram: “After several years I went to the square with my mother to say: NEVER AGAIN! 24/3 1976-2024.”
