Disney+ has released a new trailer for the Obi-Wan Kenobi series

As Star Wars fans celebrate the franchise’s official May the Fourth Day, Disney+ has released the second trailer for the spin-off series. Obi-Wan Kenobistarring Ewan McGregor as the exiled Jedi master.

Highly anticipated by Star Wars fans, the series will tell the story of the Jedi knight in exile after the transformation of his apprentice Anakin Skywalker, who became Darth Vader. The latter will be played by Hayden Christensen, who will mark her return to a major role, she whose career has gone into the background in the last decade.

The actor previously performed as Anakin Skywalker Star Wars Episode II : attack clones (2004) at Star Wars Episode III : Revenge of the Sith (2005).

The framework ofObi-Wan Kenobi occurring 10 years after the events of Revenge of the Sithafter Emperor Palpatine seized power and enacted Clone Protocol 66, a secret order to eliminate all Jedi in space.

One of the last survivors of the Jedi Order, Obi-Wan is still running, being chased by the Inquisitors. He watches young Luke Skywalker, who lives only on his Uncle Owen’s humidity farm on the planet Tatooine.

The miniseries will have six episodes, the first two will be available on Friday, May 27th.
