Alessandro Fantino He expressed his indignation after receiving a bill with an exorbitant amount for what he will have to pay for electricity in the studio where Neura (his YouTube channel) broadcasts.
“This is a company, Neura, that has streaming, Twitch, YouTube and also has radio, 89.7. We are a group of members and the electric bill from the radio transmission system has just arrived. We are not Radio Mitre, we are not Radio Rivadavia. We are 89.7,” he began indignantly.
“Here’s the figure. Almost five million pesos,” Fantino assured, disappointed. Then he showed the invoice to the cameras and specified that the precise amount to be paid is 4,294,566.42 pesos.
“We’ll pay for it, of course we’ll pay for it. Now, what do I do? What do I make dearer to you? I ask you. What do we make dearer for? It’s like me saying “from now on minimal super chat (a feature that viewers pay for participate in the chat) is $50. And no, I can’t tell you that. So tell me what happens with a normal company,” she added.
“And I’ll say it openly: I love doing communication, working at Neura and doing this communication phenomenon that we do at Neura. But if jokes like this start arriving, the streaming tax will disappear tomorrow, you get the tax on something else and I have to come to work and pay, no guys, I’m telling you honestly, we’ve closed this one and I will work for the channel that employs me,” he warned.
“I don’t know if (Migue) Granados will have a job here in Olga or maybe (Nicolás) Ochiatto will be able to find me a place in Luzu”, he concluded ironically and worried about the high amount he will have to pay.
