Walter Santiagobetter known as Alpha, has had a big scare in the last few hours due to his state of health. As is known, he had entered the house of Big Brother (Telefe, 10.30 pm), to mobilize the current participants and add content to the reality show, but he had to abandon it much earlier than expected due to a cardiac arrhythmia.

As soon as he left the most famous house, where he would remain until after Easter Sunday, Alfa was urgently admitted to the Las Lomas sanatorium, located in the town of San Isidro, province of Buenos Aires.

There, he undertook a series of medical studies. The reality is that his blood pressure readings were very high and this caused him to have a ventricular arrhythmia.

Once the disease was diagnosed, the doctors managed to lower his blood pressure and dedicated themselves to treating the arrhythmia problem presented by the 62-year-old patient who had arrived at the medical center indicating that he was experiencing severe chest pain.

This morning, Friday, the controversial participant in the previous edition of Big Brother was discharged for medical reasons.

Before then, as usually happens on social media, a thousand and one alarming versions had circulated about Alfa’s situation, which his own brother took it upon himself to promptly deny.

Now, already settled in his home and enjoying the company of his loved ones, Alfa spoke by telephone with the Teleshow portal and commented on how his health is at the moment.

“I’m at home now. They checked the pressure issuenow there is the problem of arrhythmia,” explained Walter Santiago.

In reference to the multiple attempts made by doctors to try to reverse his ventricular arrhythmia, the former participant in the cycle led by Santiago del Moro declared: “They gave me three electric shocks and couldn’t control it. So let’s see how it goes, nothing more.”

How did Alfa’s short visit to the Big Brother house go?

Santiago Del Moro had announced what was expected: that Walter Santiago would enter the house and stay there sharing the very long weekend with the current participants.

Big Brother: Fury was the first to get excited about Alpha's presence. Big Brother: Fury was the first to get excited about Alpha’s presence.

The most enthusiastic about Alfa’s entry was Furia. She ran to hug him shouting: “No, I’m dying! I love him! I love him!”, she exclaimed welcoming him. “I’m not leaving until the end. Be careful”, warned the Alpha, without then suspecting that her health would play tricks on him.

But not all was peace and love in their coexistence: a few hours after entering, Alfa slapped Manzana and made fatphobic comments towards her.

As expected, there was no shortage of those online calling for his expulsion. The former reality TV player lashed out at Catalina because they have a bad relationship after crossing paths with X (Ex Twitter) after she got kicked out of the house for the first time. This is why, when Alfa left the house, Santiago del Moro stressed that his departure was due to “various reasons”.

Additionally, Alfa has had its run-ins with Cata. “The relationship between them was already bad since she was eliminated from the game for the first time and they called each other on Twitter.”

A hard blow instead for Alfa which saw Ariel Ansaldo, known as the Great Ari, its bitter enemy in last year’s edition of the reality show, enter the house. “I’m going to hell!” he exclaimed as most of the current players waved and hugged him while shouting “Come on, champion”. Fury tried to hold Alpha back and ask him to stay.

Upon leaving home due to what was later known to be an arrhythmia, Walter Santiago declared: “I have a good impression of everyone. It was an honor to have shared with you, you are all geniuses.”
