A few days after having surgery for a polyp on one of his vocal cords, Darío Barassi (40 years old) was hospitalized again. Through her social media, the driver revealed that he had to undergo surgery again.
Barassi had already been discharged from the first surgery, despite having had to abstain from driving. Now I’m falling! (El Trece) for the arduous post-operative period. However, although he shared photos at home with his family and shared a statement with words of gratitude, Dario showed up again from the hospital.
“Where did the fat go again?” he wrote in a story, from the Finochietto Sanatorium. With a sad face and the serum injected into his arm, Barassi explained the reason for his return to the clinic: “The surgical wound was causing an allergic reaction, and since I had a fever I didn’t hesitate to give the fat guy intravenous antibiotics. It is calm, controlled and without any risk. Be patient.”
Although he cannot speak to take care of his vocal cords, the actor recorded a short video to reassure his followers: “They only let me say ten words. And even though he seems strange, hoarse, tired, the voice is there and I can’t feel enough gratitude and emotion.”
Furthermore, he showed that he had received visits from his family and friends, including the actor and his great friend, Santi Talledowho just happened to get a few laughs from him.
In another story, Darío shared a sweet photo with his daughters, Emilia and Inés, and regretted not being able to be with them. “What I hate most about being hospitalized for a little longer and not talking is what I miss being and playing with these two creatures. Which are, I don’t know, part of my soul and my body. I can’t without them. Of course I just made a video call and was left behind. Nani, daddy loves you on another level,” she wrote.
The following day Barassi appeared again on social media to tell how his recovery was progressing. “Here’s the fat man with the intravenous antibiotic. I feel bad because I want to be home with my daughters and I started speech therapy rehabilitation. But sometimes things don’t go the way you want,” she began by saying.
“I have had two surgeries. That of the octopus in the strings that evolves perfectly. In fact I’m already talking about something minimal. “We are doing well, step by step,” Darío added.
And then he explained what the second operation he underwent was: “The other surgery was a hernia in my belly button. It turned out perfect and I’m recovering quite a bit, with almost no pain. But I developed something that may be a superficial infection or an allergic reaction which is what they are studying. And in the meantime they advised me to stay hospitalized with subcutaneous antibiotics which greatly improved the reaction and kept me fever-free for a while. We will see. Thank you for asking me. We are well and will soon be radiant. Patience”.
Darío Barassi’s reflection after surgery
Before having to return to the hospital, the actor used his Instagram account to express a profound reflection on the episode he had to experience.
“Forced to stop. “That the body speaks, that we need to slow down, that last year was very hard, that you will be fine, that you are patient, that you take advantage of the silence that what… I breathe.”
“We gave him body, head and heart. We did the surgery that needed to be done and now a somewhat complicated postoperative period begins since I haven’t been able to talk for several days and this makes me a little nervous. But come on, calm down, sweet chubby, we’ll come out better,” she added.
Then, he took advantage of the space to thank his wife, Lucia Gómez Centurión: “Thanks to the queen of my life, with whom I have been playing mime for 48 hours and it has never been her forte, thank you for always being there, for so much dedication and love, my woman, I love you“.
In this sense, Darío also thanked the doctors and assured that he had faith in them “what is most precious” in your body, namely the vocal cords.
As for his daughters, Emilia and Inésthe actor dedicated a special paragraph to them and revealed how they welcomed him upon his return home from the hospital: “And finally I put a photo of my Chinese women, who are the driving force of my life. I returned from the sanatorium today and they showered me with kisses, hugs and looks.. They don’t understand why I don’t respond or why I don’t bring them up. But they don’t judge, they give love and smiles non-stop.”
In closing, the driver left a reflection on his physical health: “In any case, in one. We will make it. I come from difficult times and the car has suffered damage. Nothing that cannot be resolved and improved. Let’s get to work. Objectives and pillars There’s plenty of that, grateful for that.”
