Carlos De Elía learned of the incident in 2017, when he was working in the media sector. Until that moment I had only heard from the successful director through his work. Brothers… It shows previously unpublished revelations from the doctors who treated him and delves into an arduous task that lasted almost two years, the time it took to reconstruct the events and give an abrupt turn to the case.

Thinking about what happens to a person who has so many options available and doesn’t get justice is something that worries and mobilizes,” she says. .

“I was very struck by the story – he adds – that’s why I proposed to Mariano to make the documentary and he accepted”. The result? A police and judicial case with heartbreaking characteristics.
