A touching story

Carlos De Elía learned of the incident in 2017, when he was working in the media sector. Until that moment I had only heard from the successful director through his work. He was moved by the story and decided to spread it.. It didn’t end there: little by little the idea of ​​revealing the mysterious death and recounting Mariano’s desperate search for justice began to develop.

What we see in the press screening before the premiere is extensive research. From the moment Alejandro enters the San Isidro hospital, until he dies without anyone being able to explain what really happened.

Coinciding with the date of the debut on the various platforms, and almost nine years after the fact, The oral trial will begin on April 16 in the courts of San Isidro. Brothers… It shows previously unpublished revelations from the doctors who treated him and delves into an arduous task that lasted almost two years, the time it took to reconstruct the events and give an abrupt turn to the case.

Thinking about what happens to a person who has so many options available and doesn’t get justice is something that worries and mobilizes,” she says. .

“I was very struck by the story – he adds – that’s why I proposed to Mariano to make the documentary and he accepted”. The result? A police and judicial case with heartbreaking characteristics.
