The Department of Tortured Poets: everything we know so far

On Friday, April 5, just two weeks after the release of TTPD, Taylor Swift joined forces with Apple Music to promote his next album, giving clues on the theme: five playlists that represent the different universal stages of grief.

Using the names of several songs from her new work, the singer made a selection from her repertoire to represent them rejection (I love you, it’s ruining my life), THE going (You can’t tell me about Sad), THE negotiation (Am I allowed to cry?), THE depression (Old habits die screaming) and, finally, the acceptance (I can do this with a broken heart).

This confirms the main theory that revolved around TTPD, according to which it would be an album that would tell the beginning of the end of his relationship with Joe Alwyn, with whom he broke up a year ago. The letters of Midnightespecially in the song You’re losing me, They already portrayed the crisis that was beginning in that relationship that lasted more than six years.
