After a tough battle with cancer, singer and guitarist Dave Mustaine returns with his legendary band Megadeth in Buenos Aires.
The Californian group will play three shows at the Movistar Arena these days 13, 14 and 16 April as part of his “Crush the World Tour” and 30 years after his first visit, when the love affair with local audiences was born.
The trash metal band arrives in Argentina to present the songs from their latest album The sick, the dying… and the dead!released in September 2022, after Mustaine overcame throat cancer diagnosed in 2019.
The local public is preparing to welcome him with the usual love and fervor. When tickets for the first date went out, they sold out within minutes, so they announced two more so as not to leave anyone out.

“I have a lot of anxiety, I feel it, it’s in the air. Whenever I talk to someone about going to South America, what always stands out are the shows in Buenos Aires. Obviously we keep adding shows for a reason,” he said. confessed Dave Mustaine in a recent interview with Clarín.
The doors of the Villa Crespo stadium will open at 7.00 pm.

The opening group will be Againstwhich will play at 8pm and has an allotted half-hour show.

A legendary band
Megadeth formed in 1983 in Los Angeles at the urging of Mustaine, following his departure from Metallicawhere he held the role of lead guitarist.
