Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness: Two (or more) for the price of one

Welcome to the madness of the multiverse rather than the multiverse of madness. The film’s climate borders on terror at times, more than anything when the Scarlet Witch launches her attacks, and it Doctor Strange has more points in common with Raimi’s filmography Evil Dead either Drag Me to Hell than Peter Parker’s more action adventure.

He then learns that America can go from one universe to another without complications, but when he turns to former Avenger Wanda Maximoff (Elizabeth Olsen), everything will get out of hand instead of improving. to those who have not seen WandaVisionthe Marvel series, will have little trouble understanding what’s going on — or what happened—, but Wanda lives obsessed with her alternative existence and the children she created.

And only one mother, well no, not true.

So we already have demonic entities, the Scarlet Witch, Strange, the Sorcerer Supreme (Benedict Wong) and Mordo (Chiwetel Ejiofor), Strange’s notorious enemy, along with America and Christine. And lots of effects, and parallel jumps. The scene where Strange and America goes from one multiversal reality to another is brilliant, whether it’s painting or where the streets intersect with red light and not green, almost endless.

The film has humor, it’s more, shorter than the latest Marvel movies -2 hours and 6 minutes, of course with the credits and post-credit scenes- and there’s a feeling that not only will there be more Multiverse, but that’s with Doctor Strange awhile.
