Club illico, which broadcast it exclusively, made the announcement on Thursday via a press release.
So we can continue to follow the sorrows of Elisabeth (played by Sandrine Bisson), a woman who took over as head of the family farm after the sudden death of her husband. He had to communicate between mourning, raising his children, farm management and workers from abroad.
Florence Longpré and Suzie Bouchard, authors in high demand, will re-write the script for the Falardeau-directed series, which combines humor and drama. The first season was shown at the Berlinale, in Germany, last February, then at the Series Mania festival, in France.
Micheline Lanctôt, Edison Ruiz and Paul Doucet are also part of the cast of the series. Club illico has not stated a release date for the second season.
