Netflix has announced the premiere date of “First Death”, an adaptation of the short story written by VE Schwabsame author of “A Darker Shade of Magic” and “The Invisible Life of Addie Larue.” The vampire series will be released on June 10th on Vampire.

produced by actress Emma Roberts (“The Hunt”), the story of “First Death” revolves around Juliette, a teenage vampire who wants to kill for the first time and sets Calliope, a girl who has just arrived in her town, as a target. However, Juliette nor does he suspect that the girl is a vampire hunter and comes from a family of immense legacy in the field. Thus, they discover that they need to kill each other, but many begin to happen between them.
In addition to being a screenwriter, Schwab also serves as an executive producer. Already Felicia D. Henderson (“Empire,” “The Punisher”) will produce the series. Sarah Catherine Hook, Imani Lewis, Jonas Dylan Allen, Elizabeth Mitchell, Gracie Dzienny, Will Swenson, Jason R. Moore, Phillip Mullings Jr. and Aubin Wise are part of the cast. In addition to “First Kill”, another work by Schwab will also be adapted by streaming. The platform has already ordered an eight-episode series based on the fantasy “A Darker Shade of Magic”.
