Netflix Previously Confirmed Two Years of the “Vikings” Spin-Off, But Didn’t Reveal Premiere Dates
After the success of the first season of “Vikings: Valhalla”, Netflix has confirmed two more seasons of the series. And this week, it reported that Florian Munteanufrom “Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings”, will join the cast of the third year.
According to The Hollywood Reporterthe Marvel star, will play the historical figure General George Maniakes, of the Byzantine Empire, who led a revolt against the emperor himself. More details about participating Munteanu in the plot were not revealed.
“Vikings: Valhalla”, the series spin off of “Vikings”, follows the adventures of the famous Leif Erickson (Sam Corlett), Freydis (Frida Gustavsson), Harald Harada (Leo Suter), and the first Norman king of England, known as William the Conqueror.
The group will fight for its survival and break new ground in a Europe that continues to change and evolve. The creator Michael Hirst confirmed that the conflict related to the Christianization of the pagan world will be central to the plot of “Vikings: Valhalla”, something that has already been well noticed by viewers who have already seen the first episodes.
